Education and Outreach
In November 2007, D-SEVEN founded, The Scene Club, the UAE's first official networking film club; which serves primarily as a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for the company. The club operates under the patronage of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF). The goal is to provide a monthly platform for individuals across all demographics to come together and network in a relaxed yet visually stimulating atmosphere. The events are held on the last Thursday of every month and the club has 3000 registered members attached. All events from inception have been fully subscribed. A different film is screened every month and each screening is followed by a question and answer session with the director/producer of the film. This event also provides a platform for upcoming filmmakers to interact with professionals in the film industry and is free and open to the public. For more information please visit The Scene Club.
