1.     I hereby grant BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC the right to read and evaluate the accompanying screenplay/synopsis material.

2.     I understand and accept that BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC shall not review any submitted material without this completed/signed Release Form.

3.     I acknowledge that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and that the submission was written by me. I also acknowledge that I am the sole owner of this work and it’s copyright.

4.     I understand and agree that the material is being voluntarily submitted by me and not in confidence. No confidential or fiduciary relationship exists between me and BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC, nor is any such relationship being created or implied by my submission of this material. While BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC agree not to share your material in full, or any portion of it, with any third-party without my express written consent, I understand and agree that my submission may be read and evaluated by more than one employee of the company.

5.    I understand that BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC and its employees are exposed to many stories, ideas, concepts and other literary materials, through this service and via other means. I also understand that many stories, ideas and concepts are similar, and that different stories, ideas and concepts frequently relate to one or more common underlying themes and may closely resemble other works.

6.    I understand and agree that I will not be entitled to any compensation or other consideration because of the use of such similar or identical material, stories, ideas and/or concepts that may have come to BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC through this service or by other means. I hereby release BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC from any and all claims, liabilities and demands that may be made by me asserting that BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC has used or appropriated my material, or any portion thereof.

7.    I acknowledge that it is my option and responsibility to copyright or register the material prior to submitting it to BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC and hereby release BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC from any claims that arise from my failure to do so. I understand that protection of my work is solely my responsibility and that I will NOT hold BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC responsible if my work is copied, stolen or misused in any way. 

8.    In the event of any dispute concerning said material, such dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration. Each party hereby waives any and all rights to, and benefits which he or she may otherwise have or be entitled to, litigate any such dispute in court. This agreement shall be governed by the active laws of the United Arab Emirates.

9.   I understand that script analysis is a subjective process, allowing for reasonable disagreement as to the relative merits of the submission. I also understand that the analysis may or may not be complimentary or positive in nature.

10.  Due to the heavy volume of material received by BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC, I understand that BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC are not responsible for returning said material to me unless specifically arranged, or as part of the refusal process above. In addition, I acknowledge that I possess additional copies of the same material being submitted.

11. I understand the above to be an accurate and true description of the relationship formed between BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC and myself by means of this submission, and have willingly signed  this standard release as part of my request to have the material read, evaluated and critiqued and eventually produced.

12. I understand that BLOOM! Cine Startups will review my work and will contact me if I get shortlisted.

13. It is strongly suggested that you type on the first page of your script the following: "Copyright (c) 2010 - This screen play may not be used or reproduced without the express written permission of the author."

14. I understand that I hold BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, and loss of or damage to the materials entered.

15. I understand it may take up to 15 days or more before I get a BLOOM! Cine Startups Production Manager to contact me if I get shortlisted.

16. I understand that submission of my script does not guarantee that BLOOM! Cine Startups will produce my film, in this case I understand that a regret E-mail will be sent to me within two weeks or more.

17. I understand that BLOOM! Cine Startups and D-SEVEN FZ LLC will NOT own my finished film but simply produce it using BLOOM! Cine Startups partners’ discounts.

18. I understand that I cannot solely approach any of BLOOM! Cine Startups partners for any BLOOM! ’s discounts without the written permission of BLOOM! Cine Startups and without being short listed in our production slate for 2010-2011.

19. The work I am submitting is my own work.

All films that are produced under the banner of BLOOM! Cine Startups will be automatically admitted to www.thesceneclub.com where your film will be screened to a database of more than 7000 viewers. Top films will be screened at The Scene Club theatre. (This process is done only after the film has finished its local and international festival runs)

Not all applications will be accepted, BLOOM! Cine Startups team will look at all the submissions and assess which ones to produce on their merits. You just have to show some enthusiasm and willingness to produce a great film with us.
