It deals with the consequences of not being attentive to your child's needs and highlights a serious topic that's often ignored.

The journey a young Emirati girl undertakes to go on a secret 'taboo' date with a young man she has never met in person.

The film was shot guerilla style in Dubai and was premiered at the Gulf Film Festival.

Malal revolves around a young UAE couple, who travel to South India for their honeymoon, the film takes us directly into a luscious forest where we get to see the couple in a resort. 

The wife finds her new arranged marriage repulsive, emotionless and stagnant. In various scenes the wife imagines her husband in surreal and out of the ordinary situations to liven up her bored state of mind.
